Air Audit is no new comer in the field of Testing Adjusting and Balancing of environmental systems. The company was founded 1987 by Dave Lipsit who prior to this had 50% ownership in a Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning service company. From his past experience as a service technician it was very obvious that there was a need for a properly trained and committed balancing contractor to service the H.V.A.C. industry. As a result he sold his interest in his service company and incorporated Air Audit Inc. as a true independent Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Company.

Air Audit has under gone an intense training program to become Certified by The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) to perform all aspects of Air and Water Balancing . The NEBB head office is located in Maryland USA.
In order to get our NEBB Certification we have had to pass a 7 hour written exam and a 4 hour practical exam, own a required set of precision instruments, possess NEBB Procedural Standard Manuals, have a reputation for responsible performance and be a member in good standing in a local NEBB chapter. Initial certification is only the beginning, in order to retain our certification we must maintain our inventory of instrumentation, possess current instrument calibration certificates and successfully attend 6 hours of TAB refresher courses each year.

Aside from being NEBB Certified many of our staff possess other trade related licenses such as gas fitters 1, gas fitters 2, and refrigeration and air conditioning license. Air Audit is also an active member of ASHRAE. We believe in putting back into the industry that we make our living from.
